By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

The Service is an AI-powered canvas learning tool that allows you to:

• Create and organize knowledge on an infinite canvas
• Generate AI-powered responses to questions
• Create follow-up cards from highlighted text
• Build visual knowledge graphs with typed connections
• Search the web and cite sources
• Sync your data across devices

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We use magic link authentication (email-based login). You are responsible for securing access to your email account.

Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

License to Us: By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for providing the service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Encryption: Your content is encrypted before storage. We cannot read your content except as necessary to provide the service.

Responsibility: You are responsible for your content and must ensure it does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Credits: AI features consume credits. Subscription plans include monthly credits that reset each billing period. Purchased credit packs do not expire.

Credit Non-Refundability: Consumed AI credits are non-refundable as they represent real infrastructure costs paid to third-party AI providers at the time of use. Unused monthly credits do not roll over and are non-refundable. Purchased credit packs are non-refundable once purchased.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Refunds are calculated by deducting the value of any consumed AI credits and an administrative fee (for payment processing and support costs) from your subscription amount. Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to the next billing period.

Third-Party AI: AI features are powered by OpenAI. Your prompts are sent to this provider. See our Privacy Policy for details.

No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

Use at Your Risk: You are responsible for verifying AI-generated information before relying on it for important decisions.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or objectionable content
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt our service
• Circumvent usage limits or abuse free trials
• Use automated systems without permission
• Resell or redistribute our service without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions.

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding your content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Our product names, logos, and trademarks are our property. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or for any reason with 30 days' notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your license to use the service ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Data Export: Before deleting your account, you can export your data from your profile settings.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such cases, the above exclusions may not apply to you.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

Notwithstanding the above, if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may bring proceedings in your country of residence, and EU consumer protection laws may apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you by email and/or by posting a notice on our website
• Provide at least 30 days' notice before changes take effect

Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
